According to Shopify's default logic, there will be an on-sale badge if a product compare at price is set and the value is less than its sale price.
In case you don't want to display the on-sale badge, you can do so by removing compare at price with EasyBy product editor.
- Create a bulk edit task and set compare at price to blank in the second step
However, if you'd like to keep the compare at price but hide the on-sale badge, you may need to ask Shopify support or your page builder app support if you have installed such apps.
